Quick Response Team
Our peer support specialists enter Clark Regional Medical Center when substance use is suspected in any capacity. We speak to individuals about resources and recovery. To date we have a 65% success rate of getting these individuals into some type of treatment program. ART also follows up with individuals who request emergency assistance in regards to an overdose who refuse medical care. Our staff conducts home visits on a weekly basis with these individuals.
During the harm reduction program, located at The Clark County Health Department, our peer support specialists distribute hygiene kits and train the participants to use Narcan. ART helps with all resources including residential treatment, MOUD, IOP, counseling, transportation, clothing, housing, etc. Our goal is to meet the participants where they are in order to help them when they become ready.
