Clark County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy with New Vista and Achieving Recovery together hope talking openly about substance use will shutdown fear. We fear what we simply do not know. This movie is about the real-world opioid crisis which has been tearing America apart for years. By showing what happens to the families in the midst of addiction, we hope that our audience will understand the power of this crisis.

A lack of education regarding the reality of today’s substance user is fueling the
stigmatization. The first entry into opioids was through prescription pain pills.
A majority of America’s estimated 24 million drug and alcohol abusers are just like
everybody else - fathers, sons, mothers, daughters, coworkers, brothers and sisters.
They are no different from you, other than the fact that they are suffering.

Nineteen-year-old Ben Burns unexpectedly returns to his family's suburban home on Christmas Eve. Ben's Mom, Holly, is relieved and welcoming but wary of her son's drug addiction. Over a turbulent 24 hours, new truths are revealed, and a mother's undying love gets put to the test as Holly Does everything in her power to keep Ben clean.
