DESCRIPTION: The 7th Annual Rally4Recovery brings together people touched by Substance Use Disorder for an evening of community. Each year we honor those we’ve lost, and celebrate those who found recovery.
Van Ingram, Executive Director for the Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy
Van joined ODCP in November 2004, shortly after it was created with the mission of coordinating Kentucky’s substance abuse efforts in enforcement, treatment, and prevention/education.
Tommy Watkins, Achieving Recovery Together
I struggled with addiction for twenty-one years and am now blessed to have three years sober. Today I can be the father, son, brother, and all around decent person that my family and community deserve.
Annie Sotski, Health Coach
Born and raised in Winchester as the oldest of seven siblings. Annie trained as a paramedic and then an RN. She met her spouse while working at the ER in Lexington. She is a family member of a person who struggled with Substance Use Disorder.
Jail or Bail Rundraiser
Do you know anyone who should be mock arrested for charges such as “Left the Coffee Pot On,” “Aging Too Well,” or “Wearing Crocs in Public”? Warrents for bosses, co-workers, family, friends, or even yourself can be issued based on these or other “offenses.” During the Rally, a jail will be set up on Main Street holding these individuals until they make bail. Anyone wanting to put out a warrant should contact Lindsay Horseman at firstname.lastname@example.org
